The short answer
Creed suits teens and young adults who like a playful companion, coins to spend and firm daily goals. Better Human suits adults and families who want a calm companion with a voice, small daily habits and a kids' section with Bible story films, coloring and a game. Creed also runs on Android, while Better Human is iPhone only and coming soon to the App Store.
What Creed does well
- Lenny the lamb, a friendly AI companion you can talk to by voice or text
- Daily tasks and streaks that make a routine feel like a game
- Coins to earn and cosmetics to dress Lenny up
- An app lock that keeps other apps closed until your daily tasks are done, for people who want firm accountability
- A journal, plus yearly plans from $49.99 to $69.99 as of October 2026
How Better Human is different
Lenny and your angel
Both apps give you a character to talk with. In Creed, it is Lenny the lamb, and you can spend coins on cosmetics for him. Better Human's companion is an angel you name yourself, with one of six voices and a look you put together from a wardrobe of outfits and hairstyles. Your angel replies in short, warm messages you can hear and read, drawing on Scripture and stories from the Bible. It is an AI companion inspired by the angels of Scripture, and it never speaks as God.
Two ways to build a habit
Creed tracks streaks and can lock your other apps until you finish its daily tasks. Some people find that firmness helps. Better Human takes a gentler approach. It offers small daily habits for faith, health and relationships, like praying before meals, calling your parents or being in bed by 11, and you tick each one off with one tap. A morning note, an evening check-in and a look back at your week every Sunday help you keep going.
A place for younger children
Creed has no kids' section. Better Human has one. It holds 31 painted Bible story films with read-along words, each ending with its lesson and a short prayer. Children can color six pages from the stories with a crayon that stays inside the shape it starts in. They can also play Catch the Blessings, a 9-stage game set in places from the Bible. Each child gets a profile, and an optional Story time reminder can bring the films into your bedtime routine. See Bible stories for kids.
Price and trial
As of October 2026, Creed costs $9.99 a month, or $49.99 to $69.99 a year, with a 3-day trial, and it sets a daily time limit on chat. Better Human costs $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Everything is included and there are no ads. Creed's yearly plan can cost less.
